Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 6, 2026
Strenoa (“we”, “us”) provides strength training programs and workout logging. This policy explains what we collect and why. It applies to our website and Store Shell apps (iOS / Android). The canonical public URL for this policy is https://app.strenoa.com/privacy.
Account information
- Email address and password (password stored hashed).
- Session data such as authentication cookies needed to keep you signed in.
- If signup is invite-only, your email may appear on an invite list so we can approve registration and send an invite code.
- Transactional emails for invite codes and password reset (when you request them).
Fitness and workout information
We collect training and workout data to run general-fitness programming and logging—not for medical diagnosis or treatment. Strenoa is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Limits on how training guidance should be understood are in the Terms of Use (Fitness Disclaimer). This includes:
- Onboarding and program preferences (goal, experience, equipment, avoidances, and similar settings).
- Workout logs (exercises, sets, reps, load or band level, effort such as RPE) and in-progress drafts.
- Derived training signals used for progression suggestions and progress views (for example volume load or personal bests computed from your logs).
Diagnostics and analytics
We use operational diagnostics to keep Strenoa reliable: error reporting, performance traces, product metrics, and structured logs. These help us find bugs and understand whether critical features work. We do not use third-party advertising or behavioral marketing analytics to track you across other apps or websites for ads.
Diagnostic data may include technical details such as device or browser type, app version, approximate region from infrastructure, request paths, and error stack traces. We aim to minimize personal identifiers in diagnostics; we do not intentionally attach your email to diagnostic events by default.
How we use information
- To create and display your program and log workouts.
- To compute progression suggestions from your logged sets.
- To send optional reminders (e.g. workout-day or resume-draft nudges) when you opt in to push notifications.
- To authenticate you, reset passwords, and operate invite-only signup when that mode is on.
- To keep the service secure, reliable, and debuggable.
Third-party data handling
We do not sell your personal information. We use service providers (processors) only to operate Strenoa. Typical categories include:
- Cloud hosting and databases — store and serve the app and your account data.
- Transactional email — deliver invite codes and password-reset messages you request.
- Crash, performance, and operational diagnostics — receive the diagnostic signals described above.
- Push notification delivery — when you enable notifications, device push tokens and related delivery metadata may be processed by a push provider.
These providers process data under our instructions to run the service. They may retain limited technical logs for a short operational period.
Retention
We keep your account and training history while your account is active. You can delete your account in the app (More → Delete account). That permanently removes your account, program, workouts, preferences, and profile right away. If signup is invite-only, we may keep your email on the invite list so you can register again; we clear the “already used” mark so a new invite code can be issued. You may also email privacy@strenoa.com if you cannot use the in-app flow.
Children
Strenoa is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact privacy@strenoa.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete the account.
